With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Chip Miller of Springfield, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Chip left this world on September 19, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Miller and Shirley Elton Miller Jr.; his stepson Darren Messick; and his niece Keely Miller. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Miller; his stepdaughter Stephanie Dunlap (John Dunlap); his daughter-in-law Sidney Messick; his grandchildren, Natalie Dunlap, Colton Messick and Rylan Messick (Anyston Messick); his great grandchildren, Presley and Kingsley Messick; his brother Jim Miller; and his niece Margaux Wysong.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
Since animals were a comfort to Chip, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the T.A.I.L.S. program, (Therapeutic Animal Interventions Lift Spirits), at Arkansas Children's Hospital Northwest in Springdale, Arkansas.
