He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Pickney and Laura Pickney (Bratcher); his stepson Rex Jarrett; and his sisters, Maxine Hayes (Johnny), Joyce Cates (Herman) and Pat Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Pickney; his children, Martin "Marty" Pickney (Etta) and Tamara Paris (Stephen); his stepson Terry McCleary; his granddaughters, Chelsea Campbell (Joel), Abigail Pickney and Sarah Pickney; his great grandchild Jaxson Campbell; his brother Jim Pickney (June); and his brother-in-law Mike Miller. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
