He was predeceased by: his parents, Marilyn Joan Leonard Bougher and Vernon Edward Bougher; and his sister Joyce Burd. He is survived by: his wife Angie Bougher; his daughters, Andrea Wagner (Jason), Samantha Stone (Randal) and Sarah Huchteman (Kris); his grandchildren, Madison Wagner, Gabrielle Wagner, Blake Stone, Lillian Stone, Cooper Stone, Gavin NeSmith, Nolan NeSmith and Maddux NeSmith; his great grandchild Lorelai Wagner; his stepsiblings, Mark, Kate, Virgil, Laurie, Lynn and Jason; his friend Mike Arico; Thelma Bougher, Sue Garwick, Vernon Bougher, Robert Bougher, Penny Cale, Vanessa Wachlin, Debbie Hopper and Darcy Stroud. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greenlawn North (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
