It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dana Vandiver of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor P. Vandiver and Alwilda Vandiver (DeClue). He is survived by: his wife Debora Ann Vandiver (Spain); his children, James Vandiver (Merrily) of Independence, MO, Paul Vandiver of Springfield, MO and Stephanie Erickson (Steve) of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Joseph, Jackson, Avery, Jacob Vandiver, Steven, Mical and Liam Erickson; and his siblings, Sherida Vandiver of Flowery Branch, GA, Gary Vandiver (Donna) of St. Albans, MO, Vickey Downey of Festus, MO and Barry Vandiver (Barb) of Festus, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the American Legion Post 639 (2660 S Scenic Ave, Springfield, MO 65807).
