He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Smith and Dixie Smith; his wife Sandra Smith; and his sisters, Betty and Rita.
He is survived by: his children, David Ray Smith (Angie) of Battlefield, MO, Julie Ann Bryant (Jeff) of Everton, MO and Jeffrey Alan Smith (Tanya) of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Alisa, Hannah, Tyler, Hunter, Jordan and Morgan; his great grandchild Arya; and his sisters, Georgia Smith and Darlene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
