It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David George Berbert (Springfield, Missouri), who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his close friend Geraldine; his sons, Alan and Jonathan; his granddaughter Christie; his great grandchild Isaac; and his brothers, Henry, John and Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine McKeel; his children, Cathy Runyan-Svacina (Larry), Kenneth Berbert (Sheila) and Todd Berbert (Rebecca); and his sister Betty Beukers.

In his Independent Living facility in Kansas City, Missouri, he persevered through the long, lonely months of COVID pandemic protocols that confined him to his apartment, before moving to Memory Care in Draper, Utah for the last two years of his exemplary life.

He gladly accepted and felt blessed to learn from Dean Vest the meaning of charity, the pure love of Christ.
