He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Davidson and Alice Davidson; his former wife Paula Jean; and his sons, Dean (Brandi) of Nixa and Mike of Fordland.

He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Carrell, Bill, Charley and Mattie; his wife Tammy; his grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter (Amanda), Parker and Fisher; and his great grandchild Taya. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
