He is survived by: his wife Martha "Bitty" Harrison Fay; his children, Trisha Fay Fitzhugh (Elvin Fitzhugh) and Chip Fay (Jude Fay); his grandchildren, Lauren Johnson, Katie Fitzhugh, Ben Fitzhugh, Christina Rodgers, Kiernan Fay and Connor Fay; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Caitlyn Rodgers, Robert, Vera and Evander Johnson.
