It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della Ann Nelson (Springfield, Missouri), born in Ash Grove, Missouri, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Branam and Nora Branam; her husband Hutson Vencene; her son Sgt. Rickie Vencene Nelson; and her sisters, Arletta Gilmore and Jean Sowards.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Robertson (Rodney) and Randy Nelson (Cheryl). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter, and many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Heart Association or charity of choice.
