It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Della Underwood of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wheatley and Lula Wheatley (Tinker); her husband Richard Underwood; and her granddaughter Whitney Rose Underwood. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Underwood (Monique), David Underwood (Heather) and Dana Johnston (Jim Wester); her grandchildren, Brittney Underwood (Dillon McCollam), Taylor Morey (Brett), Quinn Underwood (Gerardo Munoz), Kevin Johnston (Amber) and Kyle Johnston (Lyndsy); and her great grandchildren, Sawyer Johnston, Beau Johnston, Emersyn Johnston, Gunner Johnston, Grady Johnston and Declan McCollam.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 N Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery (228 MO-13, Warrensburg, MO 64093).
