He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray C. Fields and Jewell King Fields; his sisters, Sandy Smith, Debbie Robertson and Judith Ann Fields; his former wife Marilyn; and his son John.
He is survived by: his wife Janis; his sons, Bill Fields (Melinda) of Stockton, California, Russell Fields of El Paso and Paul Fields (Allison) of Goddard; his stepsons, Scott Lawson (Cindy) and Bradley Lawson (Lauren); his grandchildren, Aly, Jenna, Maddie, Jonathan, Alec (Erin), Audrey, Ivy and Olivia (Sam); his great grandchild Drake; and his sister Donna Morris. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church in memory of Dennis.
