He is survived by: his wife Sally Schmitt (Holbert); his siblings, Lyle (Sheila Schmitt), Charlene (Ron Goethke), Lida (Dan Deutsch), Cornella (Blaine Basol) and Brenda (Paul Haaland); his uncles, Frank and Tom Lue; and his aunt Johanna Zauner. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
