He was predeceased by: his wife Wenona Belle Pettey; his children, Douglas Ralph Pettey and Wendon Brint Pettey (Gidget); his son-in-law Eric J Cochrane; and his parents, Oliver Newton Pettey of Don's and Isa Ellen Pettey of Don's.
He is survived by: his daughter Donetta Raylene Cochrane; and his grandson Donald. He is also survived by his 3 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers and plants (which all –except for roses–seem to be toxic to cats/pets), donations to the Aged Ministers Assistance of the Assemblies of God is suggested.
