It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna A. Childress of Springfield, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Grimsley and Goldie Grimsley; and her daughter Christy Ann Childress. She is survived by: her husband Gary Childress; her children, Shelly Eager (Tracy) and Shane Childress (Kimi); her grandchildren, Amanda Puckett (Josh) and Kyle Eager (Amanda); her siblings, Patricia Baker (Tellmo) and Gary Grimsley (Tracy); and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Grayson, Susanna Mae and Sawyer. She is also survived by one great-grandson due in January, and many nieces and nephews.
