He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Green and Lucille Green; his siblings, Leroy Green and Shirley Poage; his sister-in-law Shirley Green; and his grandson Riley Green.
He is survived by: his son James Green (Richelle); his wife Paula Green; his sons, Don (Carthena) and Mike (Renee); his parents-in-law, Gary and Janice Mitchell; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Fletcher (Jason) and Carroll Poage. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great- Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the National Heights Baptist Church (3050 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at the Mount Gilead Cemetery.
