She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Rister and Benton Lynch; her son Ricky Simpson; her siblings, Norma Selinski, Teddy Lynch and LeRoy Rister; and her grandson Kristopher Kohen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Nichols (Ed), Kathy Martinez (Rich), Laura Smith (Doug) and Sherry Hernandez; her siblings, Linda Powers and Wayne Lynch; and her grandchildren, Lisa Mayer (Jason), David Basurto (Brandi), Brian Buehrlen (Tiffany), Rhea Ferguson (Jared), Donovan Simpson (Yuki), Ryan Simpson, Branda Plevka (Danny) and Kaylee Walters (Joe).
