It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothea A. Watts of Springfield, Missouri, born in Bridgeport, Nebraska, who passed away on April 6, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Decker and Dorothea Decker; her sister Shirley Swisher (Don Swisher); and her son David Watts. She is survived by: her children, Deirdre Doyle (Tracie Hill), Erik Watts (Helene Grand'Maison) and Jennifer Gullett; her grandchildren, Tyler Roper (Spencer Roper), Henry Watts and Madeline Grand'Maison; Ivy, Nova and River.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Connecting Grounds or the Veterans Coming Home Center at the New Life Evangelistic Center.
