She was predeceased by: her husband Hal Buchert. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Combs, David Buchert (Robyn Creed) and Jennifer Cannon (Peter Generous); and her grandchildren, Delaney Harris, Taylor Combs, Cayden Combs, Jack Creed and Seeley Creed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Springfield Symphony or Lutheran Family Services.
