We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2024, at the age of 69, Edward Harold Almeida Jr. of Springfield, Missouri, born in Fall River, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Almeida, Sr. and Eva Almeida (Palumbo); his sister Margaret "Peggie" Perotto; his sister-in-law Virginia Simpson; and his nephew Gregory Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Almeida (Levesque); his daughters, Dena Heavin (Marc) and Kristeen Almeida-Richardson (Harold Richardson, Jr); his grandsons, Jeremy Almeida, Hezekiah Duke (Keyara), Marcus Heavin, Kamron Richardson and Nicolas Heavin; his great grandchildren, Andreis Duke and Zaylen Duke; his sisters, Judy Clancy (Michael) and Jane Sousa (Joseph); his brothers-in-law, Dr. Walter Simpson and Tom Perotto; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Teri Inman, Amy, Joseph Knight, Todd, Emily Santos, Michael, Polina Clancy, Matthew Sousa, Michelle, Tom Sullivan, Chandelle and Joe Ostiguy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
