He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward and Rose Helen Marchant (Wade); his wife Nadine Shipley; and his children, Cheryl and Donald.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jerry Shipley (Shirley); and his niece Debbie Seay-Lawler (Ron). He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
