Eva Miller McConnell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eva Miller McConnell (Springfield, Missouri), who passed away on May 28, 2026 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Eva may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eva touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Smith Chilton and Ivy Myrtle Chilton; her husband Tom McConnell; her sons, Charles (Cherri) and Mike Miller; and her grandchildren, Rari Fugitt and Ryan Bedwell.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Nikki (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Kim, James and Brooke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
