Evelyn R. Silver Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn R. Silver of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Haywood and Agnes Rouse (Coston); her husbands, Leslie E. Mills, Jr. and Larry Davis Silver; her daughter Barbara Gail Mills; her siblings, Leslie H. Rouse and Betty R.; her brother-in-law Vernon Bowen; and her great grandchild Ryleigh Jo Glenn.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie E. Mills, III and Karen L. Houk (Bruce); her sister-in-law Vella Rouse; her grandchildren, Jennifer Christy Schmuck (Keith), Leslie E. Mills VI, Mackenzie Lee Mills, Madison Lauren Mills, Jaclyn C. Glenn and Jessica L. Marshall; her great grandchildren, Kyle Dalton Schmuck, Teresa Schmuck, Henry Allen Marshall, Haddie Lynn Marshall, Agnes Lynn Marshall and Raylen Daniel Glenn; and her great great grandchildren, Lane Schmuck and Isabelle Schmuck. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
