With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Everett Jackson of Springfield, Missouri, born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Etson E. Jackson and Lois Jackson Newman; his stepfather Gordon P. Newman; his sister F. Jeanette Rucker (Ronald R. Rucker); his aunts, Wilma Duffin (George Duffin), Clara Galaway (Phillip Galaway) and Margaret Ann Kimbrell; his grandparents, James Jackson, Florence Jackson (Whitten), William Kimbrell and Alice Kimbrell (Hogg); Lois J. Newman.
He is survived by: his significant other Norma Jackson; his daughter Lori Harmon (Joe Harmon); and his granddaughters, Victoria Dillon (Brock Dillon) and Katelyn Harmon.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home (1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
