With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Mae Hufft McGehee of Springfield, Missouri, born in Groom, Texas, who passed away on October 19, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Sandy and Clara Sandy; her former spouse Rev. Dale Hufft; her husband Andrew McGehee; her children, Beverly Cole and Gene Cole; her siblings, Eula Smith (Ruth Brown), Verla Sandy and Max Sandy; and her brother-in-law Lonnie Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melva Cole and Twila Hillme (Dwayne); her grandsons, Ryan Cole (Jenna) and David Cole; her great grandchildren, Hollis Cole, Chaise Cole, Alex Fox and Megan Fox; her great great grandchild Catie Jane; and her stepchildren, Mark McGehee, Ann McCormick, Susan McGehee and Sandra Rayls. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren.
