He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Massey; his parents, Francis Massey and Adeline Massey Sr.; and his sister Joyce Kinseth. He is survived by: his children, Scott Massey (Taffy), Dennis Massey (JunJun) and Nancy Miller (Ted); his grandchildren, Chris Miller (Rebecca), Brian Miller (Callie), Austin Miller (Amber), Robert Massey, Matthew Massey, David Massey and Diana Lu; his great grandchildren, Ayden Miller, Asher Miller, Hadley Miller, Raleigh Miller, Alivia Miller and Jack Miller; and his sister Mary Hensley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home South (441 W Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65807). A reception was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Seminole Baptist Church (4221 S National Ave, Springfield, MO 65810).
