With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Eugene Summers (Springfield, Missouri), who passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Anna Grace. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Jo Shean; his children, Gena Thompson (Eric) and Wes Summers (Amanda); his grandchildren, Dylan Thompson (Chloe), Sarah Jo, Megan and Bethany Summers; his brother Bill Summers (Julie); and his brother-in-law Mike Shean (Jeri).

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Gene and Patsy Summers Family Fund at Community Foundation of the Ozarks in Gene's honor.
