She was predeceased by : her parents, Jackson Powell and Minnie Powell (Volner); her husband Richard; and her brother Lloyd. She is survived by : her children, Douglas Brown (Denise), Steven Dale Brown (Jeanette) and Tammy Pulliam; her grandchildren, Kiaya Akromis (Richard), Benjamin Brown, Melissa Brown, Jessica Brown and Danielle Pulliam; and her great grandchild Kyrie Godby. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ava Cemetery N. Jefferson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
