It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Albert Edmondson in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Edmondson and Clara Edmondson (Thomas); his wife Judith Ann Edmondson; his brother Ben Edmondson; and his daughter Kristi Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Edmondson (Sabrina) and Debra Yeager; his siblings, Gary Edmondson (Nancy) and Anne Barbour; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Yeager, Matthew Edmondson, Madison Edmondson, Austin Rolfes (Sarah), Alexandria Rolfes, Kylee Jardim, Noah Blankenship and Mikah Bostick.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
