He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Davis (Farley); and his granddaughter Reyna. He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Carter; his granddaughter Alanna "Sweet Pea" Carter; his stepchildren, Melissa Thompson and Andrew Penrod; his brother Gary Lamb; and his pet Sadie Mae Davis.
