He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mitchell and Prewitt Evans Mitchell. He is survived by: his son Evans Fitzgerald Mitchell (Tanya); his grandson Kenneth Dean Mitchell; his sister Elizabeth Mitchell Pace (Julian); his nephew Julian Pace, Jr. (Cynthia); his great-niece Amelia; his great-nephew Nicholas; his niece Emily Pace Huff (Tim); his great-nephews, Henry and Elliot; and his kitty Miss Kitty. He is also survived by cousins, numerous friends.
