He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy C. Gum and Edith Winifred Gum (Lanham); his siblings, Edgar Allen Gum, Nell Katherine Duncan and Helen Earlene Goetz; and his son-in-law Robert W. Warner.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Anna Nevius; his children, Dorothea Louise Warner of Manila, Philippines, Patricia Ann Furrow (Douglas) of Orange Beach, AL, Barbara Lynn Cardiasmenos (Cris) of Spokane, MO, Penny Laurene Coonis (Micheal) of Fair Grove, MO and Benjamin Eugene Gum (Dawna) of Lenexa, KS; and his nephew Kenny Roy Duncan of Twisp, WA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
