It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Hohenfeldt of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Georgia leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Georgia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howe and Addie Howe; her husband Harold R. Hohenfeldt; her brother Harold Howe; and her son-in-law Wes Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Hohenfeldt (Delaine) of Rolla, Vicki Hale (Freddie) of Republic, Peggy Miller of Auxvasse and Dale Hohenfeldt (Tonya). She is also survived by numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meadors Funeral Home - Republic Chapel (314 N Main Ave, Republic, MO 65738). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Women's Ministries at First Baptist Church in California, Missouri, or Jacob's Ladder a Not for Profit Support for those in need of end of life care, located in Springfield.
