He was predeceased by: his father Noah Larkin Gresham; his former wife Donna Jean Gresham; his wife Barbara Faye Gresham; his granddaughter Leah Renea Gresham; his mother Alma Garnet Gresham; and his sister Jacquelyn Ann Schlaf.

He is survived by: his children, Kristie Fischer (Andy), Debi Ringenberg, Kari Wolfe (David), Gerald Larkin Gresham II (Beverly) and Robin McEnany (John); his sister Linda Hanick (Vic); his grandchildren, Zach Fischer (Kristal), Adam Fischer, Josh Ringenberg (Jessica), Nick Ringeberg (Lacy), Dan Wolfe, Alyssa Wolfe (Caleb), Lacey Brewer (Casey), Casey Gresham (Jason), Jeremy Gresham, Eli Gresham, Joel Calaway, Ian Calaway and Savannah Calaway; and his nieces, Leanne Pendergraft (Doyle) and Blake Hanick. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
