Gertrude Lucille Rogers Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Lucille Rogers of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin Scott and Anna Mae Burney (Scott); and her siblings, William Scott, Jackson Scott, Ralph Scott, Elmer Scott, Mary Louise Scott, Velma Margaret Scott and Willa Mae McKinney.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Lee; her children, George Hamilton (Cathy) of Battlefield and Karen Burk of Nixa; her stepchildren, Ronda Rogers of Springfield, Terry Rogers of Springfield, Deonna Bass (Mark) of Springfield, Nancy West (Jim) of Joplin, Linda Collins (Chuck) of Springfield and Wayne Taylor (Sherry) of Willard; her brother Jerry Scott (Connie) of Springfield; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Scott of Springfield and Suzanne Scott of Buffalo. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
