It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Van Hook of Springfield, Missouri, born in London, Arkansas, who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Logan Tate and Sylvia Tate (Bunn); her siblings, Kermit, Lawrence Tate and Aloha Gourley; her husbands, Bill Burke and Bryan Van Hook; and her nieces, Brenda Adams (Tate), Linda Jane Tate and DeAnna McCord.

She is survived by: her daughter Gloria; her friends, Betty Brown, Carolea Morris and Beverly Lowery; her nephews, William Tate and Donald Gourley II; and her niece Pamela Chatham (Sally Champagne). She is also survived by her family; great-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First and Calvary Church or the Boys and Girls Clubs of Springfield Missouri.
