He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Minor and Wilma Minor; his sister Margaret; and his wife Wanda. He is survived by: his sons, David Minor (Nena) of Fairview Heights and Rob Minor (Beth) of Nixa, Missouri.; his grandchildren, David Minor Jr., Krysta Minor, Andy Minor, Caleb Minor (Alysha) and Mikki Benjamin; his great grandchildren, Nathanael Minor, William Minor and Sage Minor; his aunt Juanita Young; and his friend Kenneth Haynes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri or Rescue One of Springfield.
