He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton E. Pickel and Josie M. Pickel (Axe). He is survived by: his sons, Peter Pickel, John Pickel, Gabriel Pickel and Brandon Pickel; and his sister Sharon Larue Grandel. He is also survived by six grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
