He was predeceased by: his parents, Haden S. Hamilton and Frances Hamilton of Atlanta, GA.. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his daughter Jenny; his son-in-law Chris Wassam; his granddaughters, Molly of Springfield and Annie of Springfield; his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Larry Flanagan of Augusta, GA; his granddaughter Alayna of Dalton, GA; his brother Jack; and his sister-in-law Nancy Hamilton of Knoxville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Springfield, 525 South Avenue, Springfield, Missouri 65806.
