She was predeceased by: her parents, Halbert Sluder and Anna Sluder; her husband Bob Thompson; her son Steve Thompson; her grandson Tanner Thompson; and her great grandchild Reece Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Thompson (Debbie), Karen Brooks (Butch) and Kent Thompson (Darlyne); her daughter-in-law Cindy Thompson; her siblings, Ronald Sluder, Carol Vandivort and Kenneth Sluder; her grandchildren, Brett (Chelsea), Chelsea (Justin), Blake (Mindy), Lance (Tiffanie), Nicole, Madelyne (Jorge) and Hannah (Jimmy); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Talon, Taylor, Mason, Maelee, Tinley, Ella and Josias; Patty Letterman and Chrisy Daney. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grand Oaks Mission or The Ronald McDonald House both located in Springfield, Missouri.
