He is survived by: his wife Carol Buckner (Hansen) of Springfield; his children, Shawn "Chris" Buckner (Abby) and Terri Chitwood (Joe); his grandchildren, Greyson Buckner of Ozark, Missouri and Kylie Chitwood of Ozark, Missouri; and his stepson Eric Browning of Kansas City.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home (4500 S Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO 65804). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Eastlawn Cemetery (2244 E Pythian St, Springfield, MO 65802).
