She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris McQueen and Leota McQueen; her husband Raymond Eugene Gibbons; her daughter Linda Gibbons; and her brother Morris.
She is survived by: her son Gary Gibbons; her daughter-in-law Marlane Gibbons; her sisters, Tootie and Snookie; her grandchildren, Chad Gibbons and Jennifer Murphy; and her great grandchildren, Thadius Gibbons, Layla Murphy and Rachel Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to honor Ila's love of animals and her little dog Maggie by donating to Rescue One, 1927-B E. Bennett St., Springfield, MO 65804.
