He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie C. Hood and Willie M. Hood (Shook); and his sister Jean Larson (Hood). He is survived by: his wife Frances A. Hood (Davis); his children, Jeannie Glover (Brent), Jill Lohmeyer (Jim) of Springfield, Jana Funk (Gary) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Joel Hood (Joyce) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Kasie Ferguson (Rob), Cody Johnson (Cheryl Vukmanich) and Kyle Johnson (Millie); and his caregiver Jack.
