James Dodson Viefhaus Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Dodson Viefhaus (Springfield, Missouri), born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Henry Viefhaus and Faye J. Smith; and his sisters, Judy Vernon and Jane Pleasant. He is survived by: his wife Coleen; his sons, James D. Viefhaus, Jr., Joe D. Viefhaus and Tai Ly; and his half-siblings, Zoe Metzger and Fred Viefhaus. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
