James Gooden Obituary
James Walker Gooden, 75, passed away March 12, 2014 at his home in Springfield, MO. He was born in Osawatomie, KS on July 1, 1938 to Francis and Caddie Gooden. Jim"s church home was the First Baptist Church of Battlefield, MO. Survivors are his wife, Alice; sons: Jim (Diane), Ron (Sam), Leo, Eddie; daughters: Lona, Carolyn (Chuck), Roberta (Juan); 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 17, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield, MO.
