He is survived by: his children, Diane Brusherd (Jon) of Springfield, Missouri, David Williams (Shawna) of Wildwood, Missouri and Doug Williams (Ranelle) of Longmont, Colorado.; and his grandchildren, Kristin, Scott Brusherd, Joanie, Maggie Williams, Blake, Cooper and Luke Williams.

Jim's contributions to Evangel extended far beyond academics; as Vice President of Institutional Advancement, he served from 1998 until his retirement in 2013.
