He is survived by: his wife Janice Mercer; his children, Bill Mercer (Margaret), Darryl Mercer, Duane Mercer (Julie) and Kathy Hall; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Letterman and Henrietta Terry. He is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
