We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2024, at the age of 82, James Sammon of Springfield, Missouri, born in San Francisco, California passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sammon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sammon and Bridget Sammon. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughters, Carolyn Sammon MD, Kate Wilkerson and Elizabeth Sammon; and his grandchildren, Sylvia, Meredith and Ryley.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted at Doctors Without Borders (doctorswithoutborders.org), and at Claret Winter Shelter for the Homeless at Sacred Heart Church in Springfield, MO.
