It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sheffield of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Sheffield and Mae Evelyn Sheffield; and his siblings, Basil Sheffield, Jr. and Rae Suddieth. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, James Douglas Sheffield (Kelly) and Meggan Moore (John); his siblings, Hazel Hale (J. D.), Rebecca Senter (Max), Faye Franks, Jackie Fuhr (Dave), Barbara Lindsey, Vickie Shelton, Ricky Sheffield and Phillip Sheffield (Felicia); his granddaughters, Kayla, Tiffany, Jackline, Whitney and Allie; and his nephew Matthew Roberts.
