He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Sparks and Arlene Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Sparks of King's Way United Methodist Church; his siblings, Jack Sparks, Caroline Hensley and Mary Strothkamp; his daughters, Stephanie Sheridan (Jim) and Heather Heuston (Tom); and his grandchildren, Courtney LeCluyse (Wilson), Matt Sheridan, Rex Heuston and Lance Heuston.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home (1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hazelwood Cemetery (1642 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804).
