He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Tharp; and his siblings, Patricia and Lyndle. He is also survived by three children, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial gifts be given to the First Baptist Church of Springfield, Mo.
